The conference
The I INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ABOUT INDUSTRIAL TOMATO is hosted by the Research Association Centro Tecnológico Nacional Agroalimentario "Extremadura".
This Conference is based on the SINGULAR & STRATEGIC PROJECT "Improvement of the competitiveness of the processed tomato sector" (Sub-Project 6: Spread information about the Strategic Project and promotion of the Strategic Project), financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The Conference will become an essential meeting point for a sector with important growth possibilities. It will become a national and international technological forum of the industrial tomato sector.
It is addressed to industry representatives, producers and the scientific community.
This event consists of different performances focused on the promotion and spread of information about the Conference: holding meetings, cooking contests, television and radio broadcasts about industrial tomato, set-up of a research forum, culinary demonstrations, provide information to schools about the healthy properties of tomatoes, etc.
The I INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGICAL CONFERENCE ABOUT INDUSTRIAL TOMATO "TECHNOLOGICAL FORUM" is an important event that will show the last technologies that have been used on the industrial tomato in accordance with market demands and requirements of consumers.
The Conference is structured in different blocks that introduce topics such us the basic raw material quality; the processed tomato quality and the efficiency of processes; the better use of by-products; the development of new secondary products; new processes and products of the industry derived from other raw materials; and technological observatories.
