We have received the trailer in which the soil bio-improver module will be placed and which is part of the prototype to be built in the project LIFE+ Integral Carbon.

In this trailer, all the elements of the mobile module are situated: the plastic tank, aeration arms, and control and monitoring systems. The next step will be the connection of all the elements of the system: aeration pumps, solar panels, aeration pumps, solar panels, probes, air monitoring, etc. by the research group of the University of Valladolid.

The final installation of the whole prototype is planned at the end of June 2015 at the winery La Fontana, located in Fuente de Pedro Naharro (Cuenca, Spain). The prototype has two modules: the module for the pretreatment of industrial wastes and liquid effluents, which is now being developed by KEPLER Engineering and Ecomanagement in Burgos (Spain), and the soil bio-improve module for algal production.

The prototype will treat the agricultural residues of the remaining wineries within  D.O. Vinos de Uclés, and the soil bio-improver will be applied in their vineyards.
