On October 13th Professor Almudena Gómez presented the communication entitled "Innovation and participation. Analysis of a carbon sequestration initiative in the wine sector through the technique of Focus Groups" in the XI Coloquio Ibérico de Estudios Rurales, held in Vila Real (Portugal).

In this paper the first results and conclusions of the presentation of the prototype located in D.O. Ucles to local actors, companies, researchers and institutions, through a participatory model forward to a group of experts, following the methodology of focus groups.
