Members of all the institutions involved in the project participated in the project coordination meeting held at la Estacada Winery in Tarancon, Cuenca, (DO Uclés wines), in order to review the work completed to date, analyze the results obtained and to establish a new work plan including factors identified to continue improving and refining future results.

The next day included the LIFE monitoring meeting which was attended by Irune OSes, IDOM monitoring expert - NEEMO TEAM LIFE.  Project coordinator, Carlos Rad, from the University of Burgos, gave an overview of the actions undertaken while technicians from the various different institutions involved in the consortium presented the results thus far obtained showing relevant advances in the installation and operation of the prototype, the work plan on socio-economic and environmental issues, and the status and progress of the project communication plan.

Subsequently, the LIFE expert gave some pointers on the monitoring and assessment of the administrative and financial aspects of the project, focusing on the different aspects to be considered in the preparation of the Mid-Term Report.

The afternoon finished with a visit to the prototypes installed in the Fontana Winery: Norbert Nagele, Kepler Engineering, explained the operation of the biogas digester and Jorge Miñón of the University of Valladolid, gave a demonstration of the prototype algae production module in action.
