The team from the University of Burgos has gone to Tarancon for meeting with Bodegas Fontana technician to talk about the actions to be taken in the area.

The winery and laboratories were visited with the intention of identifying CO2 emitting activities. The trial plots on the farm were also visited where soil and biological crust samples were taken.

A subsequent meeting with the manager of the DO Uclés wines presented the project and its objectives, laying out the work to be performed, the economic aspects and rationale, future visits, dissemination activities and the overall timeframe.
